The classic Doctor Who companion Sophie Aldred will be joining Lovarzi for a special livestream this October.
Sophie Aldred, as you know, played the Seventh Doctor’s companion Ace from 1987 and 1989, and most recently appeared opposite Sylvester McCoy in 2023’s Tales of the TARDIS. We are delighted to announce that Sophie will be joining us for an exclusive livestream and interview on Friday 11th October at 7pm on the Lovarzi YouTube channel.
Fans will be able to send in their questions for Sophie Aldred as well, both during and before the event, so if you’ve ever wondered what it was really like to be chased down a metal pipe by Helen A’s toothy friend Fifi, now is your chance to find out!
There will also be a ‘wicked’ giveaway for those who join us on the night, so stay tuned for more details soon.
It is a huge honour for us to sit down with one of Doctor Who‘s most explosive companions, and we can’t wait to hear more about Sophie’s life, career and TARDIS travels. We’re sure it’ll be more than good. It’ll be ace!
What are you most excited to find out? Let us know in the comments below.

I recently listened to the BBV audio “Only Human,” in which Ace confronts her abusive stepfather (SA). Your acting was very well done, and I imagine it proved cathartic for more people than just myself. What did you think of that scene, and how did it make you feel?
