Evolution of Cybermen – have you read that right? No, it’s not the name of an upcoming episode, but these metal cyborgs from Mondas have changed considerably over the years, ever since they first left their twin planet Mondas in 1986 (or, 1966 in British TV terms.)

This was a rather sneaky joke on my part. The BBC’s original VHS cover looked like this – complete with the wrong Cybermen and distinctly 80s-looking starfield!
